Hello! I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you. It's my great honor to have the chance to work with you in counseling and psychotherapy. My favorite thing is to see other people take hold of their life and push into the hard stuff so that they can experience radical growth in their life!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Psychotherapist, Educator, Painter, and Curator. Prior to receiving my M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Eastern University in Saint Davids, PA, I received my BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. For a decade I worked in the field of marketing, brand management and design for non-profit organizations in New York City and Philadelphia. Following that time, I spent another five years in Higher Education Administration as both a development officer and as a student affairs officer.

I have extensive experience working with young adults (individuals and couples) and university students. I have particular experience working with professional artists, performers and other creatives. I also have expertise working with high profile/VIP individuals and go to great lengths to mitigate any exposure.

I usually work with young couples who are struggling to connect with one another and individuals who find themselves stuck in place.

Originally trained psychodynamically, I have since obtained or am working toward certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy, as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My primary focus is to build a strong, therapeutic alliance and to instill hope in you so that you may live a life worth living.

I write and speak about topics of art, culture, faith & mental health. My work as an artist and writing as an expert on counseling psychology and relationships has been exhibited and published internationally. I have appeared on NBC, Relevant Magazine, The Good Men Project, Create Magazine and the podcast Art and Cocktails, amongst others.

I am on faculty at Eastern University in the graduate school's Counseling Psychology department where I teach Personality and Psychosocial Assessment and Psychopathology, as well as Internship Seminar for students in the final stages of their degree process. I also provide supervision in the area of Couples Therapy for doctoral students in the PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Eastern.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (PC011354). I am board certified by NBCC as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). National Certified Counselors offer the highest standards of practice because they have met stringent education, examination, supervision, experience, and ethical requirements. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I am a member of the board of directors for the Philadelphia Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (PCEFT).

I am a member of the following professional organizations and guilds:
American Counseling Association (ACA)
The American Counseling Association is a not-for-profit, professional and educational organization that is dedicated to the growth and enhancement of the counseling profession.
